There were many structural challenges inherent in the design of this project. Kramer Engineering worked very closely with the selected contractor to ensure a successful project within the client’s stated budget.
Kramer Engineering was asked to redesign this project with the goal of reducing the construction cost. Collaborating with Oltmans Construction and their team, we were successfully able to significantly reduce the cost of construction.
This campus facility consisted of a 250,000 square foot, two story steel frame/tilt-up corporate office building; 1,200,000 square foot dry storage building; and an 800,000 square foot cooler/freezer building. In addition, there were a number of smaller structures that we were able to redesigned to reduce cost.
